Area 7 Rotary clubs teamed up to support the Rotary Mile along the 10-mile route for the 46th Crim race. Mike Chaffee provided a generous hot breakfast and Bloody Mary bar for volunteers, who gathered at 5:45 am. By 6:30, the team deployed to intersections along the mile to ensure vehicles steered clear of the route, racers had fresh water, and celebrants could take pictures with a Rotary-themed backdrop.

In all, more than 35 Rotarians and Rotoractors volunteered, including some who worked behind the scenes in the days and months beforehand to prepare. Thank you to all the volunteers, and congratulations to all the runners, walkers, and hand cyclists on a successful Crim weekend!
